Very good bassing compliments of diamond jigging, 3-ways and bucktails.  The guys bagged their limit and landed some blues as well.  Fish went to 18 pounds with Steve being high hook with 5.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 6/7&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter IV sailed over to Montauk fro a half day bachelor party fishing trip wth Matt Libassi and pals.  The guys nailed rthier limit on bass in 2 hours by diamond jigging and trolling.  Fish went to 15 pounds.  Nick and Matt scored  some triple headersr.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Capt Joel is running 1-25 person private charters from our Groton, Ct location and our Montauk, NY location. Heading SE of BI, alot of action kept things busy with over 250 shorts boarded.  Ended the day with close to 50 keepers with the largest at 9 1/2 pounds thanks to "Dark Cloud Ralph" who brought it over the rails.  Plenty of bait around shows good sign of the continued cod bite.  We are sailing open boat by reservations Thurs 4/1, Fri 4/2 and Sat 4/3 - private Charters also available. It was a good day for "Woodchuck's" charter with the morning providing plenty of action , alot of shorts and some keepers mixed in.  Towards the end of the day the bite improved with over 115 keeprs boated.  "Newcomer" Tom snagged the 18 pound pool and even Steve  "the house Bulider"  managed to bring some keepers over the rails.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 3/21 &lt;br /&gt;Good day on the open boat trip aboard Sea Otter IV out of Snug Harbor.  Decent morning bite but  a steady afternon bite with the limit taken. Eric 'the roofer'  from Oyster Bay New York was hihj hook with 15.  12 year old Brian Weiss from Avon, CT stole the pool honors from his dad with a 19 pound cod.  Dad, Jim, took 2nd place with a 16 1/2 pounder. Started the day with double headers and ended with double headers.  Drifting bait and some jigging we limited out by 10:30  for 12 patrons.  John from Providemnce brought the pool winner over the rails at 22 pounds.  debbie from Waterford, CT nailed a 20 pounder.  Good quantity in the 8-12 pound range.&lt;br /&gt;Call the office and sign up for next open boat dates - max 14 passengers&lt;br /&gt;MOn 3/8, wed 3/10, thurs 3/11 sun 3/14.  860 739-1882&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fri 3/5&lt;br /&gt;It was a rough snowy start for Rocky Demato and pals as they headed out of Snug Harbor for some cod fish action.  First drift was a pick then Captain Joel anchored up and it was lock and load.  Awesome action with over 120 fish hitting the deck by 9:30 AM.  The largest cod tipped the scales at 26 pounds and Ralph landed a nice 15 pound double header.  Great day and back to the dock early!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Waiting list only for Mon  3/8 open boat, 1 spot left on Wed 3/10 and limited avail left on Sun 3/14.  Next Open Boat trips are Mon 3/15, Wed 3/17 with others added as available. The cod did not disappoint! Non-stop action from when we first dropped anchor.  Fished clams in 145' of water. Double headers were common with "Pasta"  boasting at least a dozen.  Jerry from McPhee Electric scored the pool with a 19 pounder.  15 anglers had their limit by 8:45 AM.  Awesome!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 3/7&lt;br /&gt;Tom Valyo and his CT friends headed up to Snug Harbor to check out the cod bite on a Sea Otter IV Private Charter.  It was a tougher morning but good improvement by midday. Combing drifting, anchoring and using clam bait the gang nailed close to 85 keepers.  Jim took top honors for the day holding first, second and third place honors courtesy of his 18, 16 and 14 pound cod.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Open Boat update:  SOLD OUT Mon 3/8, Wed 3/10 Will take names for waiting list in case someone has to back out. Anchoring up provided plenty of cod and a few ling.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Next available dates for either private charters or open boat start the week of 2/22. Called the trip early due to the rough sea conditions but the guys made the best of it with some decent iamond jigging with good numbers of blues and stripers over the rails.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 11/7&lt;br /&gt;Capt. Joel has the boat back up in Snug harbor for Nov. and Dec. to take advantage of a hot tog bite and 8 fish per man regs.  jim Luccente and pals made the trek and were not disappointed.  Fishing in 70 feet of water the gys had well over 7o keepers over the rails.  High hook was Pat with 18. The guys diamond jigged their limit of stripers to 18 pounds and had really good action on the blues. Switching to sea bass they had a fair bite gong in the afternoon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thurs 10/22&lt;br /&gt;Bill Connolly and friend headed east today for som diamond jigging action. Nabbing thier limit they nailed stripers to 18 pounds. There was plenty of bluefish action going on to keep reels turning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fri 10/23&lt;br /&gt;Brian and John Minsky had a bunch of guys out to brave some tough seas.  In spite of that they nailed their striper limi and caught a pile of blues as well diamond jigging. They started out catching some porgies and even Greg was able to contribute!&lt;br /&gt;They switched to stripers and some blues.  They ended with 15 keeper striped bass to 34 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 10/5&lt;br /&gt;Denise Kawalski and family headed out to Montauk for a half day fishing trip.  Using live eels they had a nice run of dtripers ending with 16 keepers.  Denise nailed the largest at 40 pounds with a 38 pounder taking second place honors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Capt. Starting the day the guys boated a bunch of porgies.  By the end of the day a decent striper bite turned on and 16 keeprs were over the rails to 26 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thurs 9/24&lt;br /&gt;Alan Preiss and crew were out to work the bass bite.  Great start of porgie action. Jimmy christened his new pole with 3 keeper bass. Picky bite but the boat reeled in its limit to close out the day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fri 9/25&lt;br /&gt;Andy and the guys from Arrow Tree Service were back for their annual Sept. fishing trip.  The day began with trolling for stripers and blues.  to escape the wind condition they switched gears to bottom fishing.  Over the rails sailed a very good mixed bag of sea bass to 5 pounds, porgies to 4 pounds and a bunch of trigger fish also weighing to 4 pounds,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 9/26&lt;br /&gt;Brian Minsky headed out with a great bunch of guys for his annual Sept retun to the mecca.  It was a tough start for live baiting bass.  Switching to bottom fishing proved successful with a load of sea bass to 4 pounds as well as a mess of porgies and trigger fish. The gang saw a few hundred sail over the rails with weighs to 5 1/2 pounds.  They also enjoyes some terrific porgie action with the scale tipping in at 3 1/2 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sunday they enjoyed some more fabulous sea bassing and some excellent porgie action.  Switching to stripers the largest weighed in at 31 pounds. Very good sea bass action, with fish to 4 pounds.  Wayne managed his first keeper sea bass on Saturday and also went home with the pool winnig fluke at 5 pounds.    Sunday the guys had lots of jumbo porgies over the rails and again, gpood numbers of sea bass. The guys started out by catching live bait and EVERYONE participated for a change (ha/ha!).  Switching to stripers they had a great run of fish with 3 and 4 on at a time.  the gang nabbed their limit with fish coming over the rails to 25 pounds.  Tough tide for late aftermnoon for fluking but ended ok with Steve weighing in the largest flattie at 4 1/2 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;July 12, 2009&lt;br /&gt;Aaron Dimunno and his friends came out to Snug Harbor for some shark fishing action. The guys started out trolling bass and blues.  Switching gears to shark, it was a lsow start that quickly changed once we got rid of all the BANANAS on board!  Great shark action with 7 blue sharks up to 250 pounds. The tide changed, we anchored up and then proceeded to whale on cod for the remainder of the trip. There were plenty of double headers to go around. Archie brought the pool over the rails at 24 pounds. Mostly bait was the trick but jigging was decent too. Had our limit by 11 and played catch and release for the next hour before we headed back to Snug Harbor. Plenty of double headers over the rails and sore arms as the guys easily nabbed their limit and threw plenty overboard for another day. A slow start for the morning led to a very good afternoon bite with some real nice fish brought in.  Around 70 keepers for the day with  40 fish over ten pounds and the pool coming in at 20 pounds.  A mix of cunners, pout and ling as well. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mon 2/16&lt;br /&gt;Good action for the John Kawalewski and crew from NJ today aboard Sea Otter IV out of RI. Very Good cod action in the morning and a fabulous ling bite throughout the remainder of the day.  Over 80 cod came over the rails with the pool going at 23 pounds. The 6 guys also counted over 100 ling for the afternoon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 2/15&lt;br /&gt;Awesome cod trip out of R.I. today aboard Sea Otter IV. Although breezy in the morning, fish gave plenty of steady action with plenty ion the teens for Louis Pedone and gang. The pool weighed in around 20 pounds. Paul Sr. nabbed a double header with a pair of 15 pound twins. Terrific togging with plenty of fish and many on the 9-10 pound range. They also had a few sea bass in the mix .&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wed 11/4&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;George Lafatzis and some Noreast buddies were out for some very good tog action today aboard Se Otter IV. Lots of fish over the rails with the largest coming in just over 9 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 11/8&lt;br /&gt;Mr. Park and his friends were out today for some blackfish  action aboard Sea otter IV.  No disappointments with plenty of fish between 8 an 10 pounds and some sea bass too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 11/9&lt;br /&gt;A bit slower bite for Thomas Kim and crew aboard Sea Otter IV today.  The guys worked for their limit and had fish to 7 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter IV and V are available for tog charters. A great two days with plenty of stripers.  Highlights on Monday included the 42 1/1 pound striper that Bruce diamond jigged.  Tuesday they brought over 35 keepers over the rails on live eels with Jimmy nabbing the biggest at 35 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fri 10/24&lt;br /&gt;Tough bass bite for Ken Piil and pals aboard Sea Otter IV today. Pleanty of bluefish action.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat10/25&lt;br /&gt;Tommy Hart and the boys were aboard Sea Otter IV today for some togging action. Decent day with Tommy Sr. weighing in fish to 7 1/2 pounds and Tommy Jr. scoring his first blackfish.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aboard Sea Otter V, Pat and some guys from Peconic Ironworks were out mixing it up. They brought a bunch of sea bass over the rails and over two dozen triggerfish. The guys were not disappointed with weights topping out in the upper 30's.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thurs 10/9&lt;br /&gt;Rich Lemke and crew took the Sea Otter IV for a full day mixed bag trip. Using the combinatiopn of live bait, diamond jigging and trolling the guys brought in a bunch of blues and around 16 keeper bass to the 30 pound range.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 10/11&lt;br /&gt;Rudy Kastanek and the guys from work headed out for a private charter today aboard Sea Otter IV. Lots of nice sea bass over the rails. Good numbers of stripers as well coming in to 32 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V ran an open boat porgie trip today. Incredible non-stop action with plenty of take home for all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat night Gary Wetmore chartered Sea Otter V for some night eeling action. Gary scored his limit as did Tom who also nabbed the pool winning bass at 27 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 10/12&lt;br /&gt;Gary Kollesar was able to reschedule his charter aboard Sea Otter IV today. Nice striper action with their limit taken to 30 1/2 pounds. They also made good work of some nice sea bass to round the day out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea otter V headed out with the open boat porgie trip from Groton. Once again unbeliveable scup action with some nice jumbos over the rails. 11 year old Evan took the pool with a 3 1/2 pound porgie.&lt;br /&gt;Please note the Sea Otter V open boat schedule switched gear to Tog on Friday 10/17 - 8AM-2PM from the Groton location.&lt;br /&gt; No trip available on Sat 10/18.&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter IV and V are available for blackfish private charters as well. Great trip with plenty of bluefish boated and around a dozen keeper bass to 15 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 9/28&lt;br /&gt; John and Brian Minsky and friends chartered Sea Otter IV for a great bass trip using live eels.  The guys nabbed their limit early to 34 pounds and were back at the dock before the seas got too rough.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aboard Sea Otter V today a very good porgie run.  Some nice jumbos over the rails and Big Frank Kilanowski took the pool with his chubby 3 1/2 pound porgie.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please note Sea Otter V will not be available for porgie trips from GROTON on Fri and Sat 10/4 and 10/5. Using live bait the guys boated stripers in to the mid twenty pound weight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thurs 9/18&lt;br /&gt;Just shy of limiting out  on stripers, the Haley family crew and Greg C. nailed some beauties on live bait to 35 pounds aboard a private charter on Sea Otter IV.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 9/20&lt;br /&gt;Some tough sea conditions to contend with for Phil Iorio and crew aboard Sea Otter IV today.  The guys put a few stripers and bluefish into the boat. They rounded out wioth a mix of porgies and stripers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V out of Groton today was chartered for a private bachelor party fishing trip.  The Secal family and friends brough in plenty of bluefish and nailed a bunch of keeper bass.  Bob Jr.  the pending groom to be was high hook with 3 keeper stripers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 9/21&lt;br /&gt;Good day for Rich Bowers and crew aboard their private charter aboard Sea Otter IV.  Using live bait they had stripers to 40 pounds.  They also had a mess of porgies and sea bass.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aboard the open boat Sea otter V today out of Groton it was porgie mania.  Great day with plenty of fish with some nice jumbos to 3 1/4 pound.  Also had some sea bass in the mix.  The NY boys went back over the border with lots of take home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The porgie trips run out of Groton, Ct 8AM-2PM, Fri, Sat and Sun. Stripers &amp;amp; Blues run on Mondays from 9AM-3PM. Terrific sea bass bite in the morning. The guys then switched to striped bass where they scored their limit after which they were releasing fish in the 30 pound range. The biggest bass of the day tipped the scales at 36 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;Wed 9/10&lt;br /&gt;Krispy Kreme Nagel and pals had an excellent mixed bag fishing trip aboard Sea Otter IV today. Lots of big porgies over the rails mixed in with some nice sea bass. Switching gears to stripers the guys kept plenty busy with fish tipping the scales at 30 pounds plus.&lt;br /&gt;Thurs 9/11&lt;br /&gt;Pat Folen with family and friends were out aboard Sea Otter Iv for a half day trip. They trolled some nice stripers and kept it interesting with a decent bluefish bite.&lt;br /&gt;Sat 9/13&lt;br /&gt;Earl Harris headed out with some friends aboard Sea Otter IV. Awesome porgie bite to start things off where they also got into some sea bass. They then pulled up some stripers and ble fish.&lt;br /&gt;Aboard Sea Otter V today, Casey and the Great Gun Angler Fishing Club fished with Captain joel for a mixed bag day. Plenty of porgies and some nice sea bass over the rails. Mike nabbed a nice 5 1/2 pounder. Switching to diamond jigs the guys kept rods bent on striped bass and bluefish action.&lt;br /&gt;Saturday nights striped bass trip with live eels aboard Sea Otter V was a good time. Good start to the evening, a little slow during slack tide and then great action on the outgoing tide. George Storry was high hook with 3 keepers. Steve Kreuser of Canterbury nabbed his limit as well as scoring the pool winner at 25 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;Sun 9/14&lt;br /&gt;The open boat trip aboard Sea Otter V for porgies was not a disappointment. Plenty of porgie action with Brian Johnson taking the pool with a nice one just shy of 4 pounds. After getting their fill of porgies out came some diamond jigs for some good bluefish action and some short bass.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please note that Sea Otter V's open boat schedule out of Groton has some terrific Porgie trips going at 8AM on Fri, Sat &amp;amp; Sun. Mondays are 9AM striped bass and bluefish runs. Pack your lunch and head on down. Great start with triple header keeper stripers and ended the day with double header keeper stripers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fri 8/29&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter IV hosted Joanne M. and her family for their yearly end of Summer fishing trip.  The kids kept busy reeling in a mess of porgies and bent some rods on sea bass as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aboard Sea Otter V today a decent bite provided Herb with the pool winning bluefish at 15 pounds. Both George and sonny pulled in some keeper stripers as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 8\30&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V sailed bass and blues from Groton today. Good action today on bluefish and stripers.  Ed nabbed the pool striper at 28 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 8/31&lt;br /&gt;Craig Freedman had some family aboard Sea Otter IV for a half day private charter this morning. Mixed bag action with plenty of porgie, sea bass and fluke fillets to go around.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aboard Sea Otter V today there was plenty of action all around. Amy Buckley scored the pool bluefish at 16 pounds. Wendy took the top spot for her keeper striped bass at 14 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mon 9/1&lt;br /&gt;Tim Parsons chartered Sea Otter IV today to celebrate a pals pending nuptuals.  Very decent fluke bite for the last day with fluke to 5 pounds.  The guys also brout sea bass and porgies opver the rails.  switching to stripers they had a good catch to 31 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V has a new schedule out of Groton for the month of September.  Friday, Saturday and Sundays come aboard and bend some rods on Porgie action - 8AM-2PM.  Mondays it is Stripers and Blues from 9 AM-3PM.  No reservations needed on daytime trips. The 1/2 day trip guys mixed it up for a sea bass and fluke bite.  Fluke to 5 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tues 8/19&lt;br /&gt;Bob Gull put in a trip aboard Sea Otter IV.  The gang had a very good fluke trip. Paul took the pool with his biggest fluke to date at 6 1/2 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;Fri 8/22&lt;br /&gt;Howard Breindel and families were vacationing and took the kids out for a 1/2 day charter aboard Sea Otter IV.  The kids had a blast reeling in fluke.  Playing catch and release the gang had fish to 6 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aboard Sea Otter V today the open boat crew mixed it up with stripers and bluefish.  Steve's bass got edged out for the pool winnings by Carlo's 15 1/2 pound bluefish.  Lots of bluefish action today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fri night aboard Sea Otter V's night bass with live eels a winner was made by Bill Pesca.  He hauled in a 24 pound striper to take the pool.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 8/23&lt;br /&gt;Aboard Sea Otter IV Jim Goolsby and buds from Roslyn Highland F.D. came out and mixed iot up on the Full Day Sea Otter IV privatye charter.  The guys brought in around 15 keeper fluke to 7 pounds.  They also landed some nice sea bass.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V open boat had plenty of bluefish and a fair amount of short stripers keeping anglers busy.  Wade was the pool winner with a 16 pound bluefish.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 8/24&lt;br /&gt;Decent action today abord th eopen boat Sea Otter V. Plenty of fish keeping rods bent. George Story was our pool winner with a striper at 17 1/2 pounds with Carlos from MA taking second witha 15 pound striper.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 8/9&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter IV had Julie Benkovsky and her family out this morning for a private trip.The gang trolled a bunch of blues and landed bass to 25 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;The afternoon charter was a bachelor party courtesy of Dain Lee. the guys brought in a bunch of sea bass and had some nice fluke to 7 1/2 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V sailed today with a tougher bite than the day previous.  The bluefish bite brought fish to 11 pounds over the rails.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sun 8/10&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V sailed today with a picky bite.  High hook was 6 blues and 10 year old Maddy was the pool winner. Joel aboard Sea Otter IV for some shark action today. The guys startedend ended the day with some striper and bluefish action. Highlights included the 25 pound bass that Kevin scored. Non-stop action from start to finish. Plenty of poles bait on bles and bass with Leslie Douglass as the pool winner courtesy of her 18 pound striper.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Sat 7/26&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Tim Carroll and friends were celebrating a pals impending nuptuals today aboard Sea Otter IV. Focusing on a good bass bite the guys brought over a dozen keepers over the rails to 37 pounds.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Over on Sea Otter V today, the open boat patrons enjoyed a very decent bass and bluefish bite. Big Frank Kilanowski took top honors in the bluefish category with a 17 pounder. He beat out Bob S. for the pool. Bob's striper tipped the scales at 16 3/4 pounds.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Sun 7/27&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;Sea Otter V left the Groton dock again this morning. Weather conditions were less than ideal but there was lots of bluefish action and a fair amount of short bass in the mix as well to keep patrons minds off the rain.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mon 7/28&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V out of Groton sailed bass and blues today. Good trip with very decent action. Elvis had the pool fish - a blue at 14 pounds.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Thurs 7/31&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;John Michalik and family chartered Sea Otter V today from Groton and had a terrific trip. Tons of action, awesome bluefish bite. Michael caught the first keeper bass at 16 pounds. Julie was high hook with 18 blues.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Sat 8/2&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Livingston Electric chartered Sea Otter V today and mixed it up with sea bass and fluke. terrific sea bass acyion with Pete nabbing the pool winner at 4 1/2 pounds. On the fluke side there was good action with Joe Williams bringing a 7 3/4 pounder over the rails and edging out Linda's contender at 7 1/2 pounds. Nice fish, great company and fun day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Sun 8/3&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V was back to an Open Boat today sailing bass and blues. Good action all day with Dean taking pool honors with a blue fish at at 15 1/2 pounds. They mixed it up bottom fishing for fluke and sea bass action. Fish to 6 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Tuesday night&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Taking advantage of a decent bass bite, Mike Hole was out with his buds for a private charter on Sea Otter IV. Using live eels the guys had some nice quality fish over the rails. Three went over 30 pounds with their largest tipping thew scales at 35 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Wednesday 7/16&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;An afternoon charter aboard Sea otter IV was a lot of fun for Mike Botto and his family. the kids hada great time with some fun fluke action and sea bass. The lartgest fluke weighed in at 6 1/2 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wednesday twilite - Dave Wong, his boss and family headed out....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Thursday 7/17&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea otter V hit the grounds for some fluking action this afternoon. Derek Wessel scored the pool with a 4 pound fluke.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Fri 7/18&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V headed out for striper and bluefsih today....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Thurs 7/10&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Afternoon fluking aboard Sea Otter V provided some fair action for anglers. Donell landed the first keeper amidst some decent action that yielded plenty of shorts too. The anglers also put some porgies over the rails.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Fri 7/11&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A private night bassing trip aboard Sea Otter IV gave Marcus Negron and pals some early trolling action and then switching to eels it turned out to be Marcus's night. He nailed a beauty at 47 pounds!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sat 7/12&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bluefish action was on the rise today with poles bending on diamond jigs. A bunch of stripers hit the deck on bucktails.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Crew trips this week saw some mixed bag results with a decent porgie bite and some keeper fluke to 6 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Sat 7/12&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pete Bachus chartered sea Otter iov with some pals today. they enjoyed some mixed bag action that included some nice fluke to 7 pounds and some sea bass to 6 pounds. They also put some bas in th eboat to 20 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Sun 7/13&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aboard Sea Otter V today there was some very good fishing to be had. Good numbers of blue fish over the rails. Striper fishing was also decent with Billy, Ed and Capt. Joel scoring their limit but Billy Tadiello was the pool winner.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter IV also sailed today. Tommy Alexopoulos and buddies took advantage of a good porgie bite with some nice jumbos for the table. They managed to put some nice bass in the boat as well with a couple tipping the scales over 30 pounds and the pool going at&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Fri 7/4&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nick Marchetti and family were aboard Sea Otter IV celebrating the 4th with some night eeling action. Fair bite with the guys weighing in 3 fish around 35 pounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Sat 7/5&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Parrish Witherspoon chartered Sea Otter IV with some family and friends for some mixed bag action. Plenty of bass and bluefish action, with lots of short bass. The gang also brought some nice sea bass over the rails and ended the day with some fluke. plenty of short fluke back over the rails.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V got into some bass and bluefish action with just about every drift providing busy action. Using bucktails and jigs, the pool winner John had an 18 pound bass to his credit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sea Otter V continues to sail from Groton 7 days a week at 9AM for stripers and blues. Tuesdays and Thursdays strat this week for fluke at 4:30. Reservations are a must for striper action with live ewels on Wed, Fri and Sat nights at 6PM.
